Git Access

Simon Spencer-2
After a long hiatus I'd like to get back into PEAR. I maintain (more like I
briefly maintained) Net_SMPP and would like to bring it up to scratch. It's
hard to tell exactly what has happened over the last 5 years to PEAR, but it
seems you have moved from php's SVN over to GitHub. If that's the case,
could I have commit access to https://github.com/pear/Net_SMPP/ ?

Thanks.

What github username do you have? I didn't find any Simon Spencer there
that has your email address or your homepage set.

Hi Simon,

I've a feeling this might be you? https://github.com/silospen - based on
your email address and domain name, I think I might be right?

Hi Ken,

Can't believe that I failed to put my github details in my post! You're
correct, that is me.

Thanks,
Simon

The PEAR Coding Standard didn't change over the years; we only moved
the code from SVN to github as you noted. We did have our own CI server
but didn't have enough manpower to maintain it. Most packages are using
travis-ci.org instead now.

When you bring your package "up to scratch" please keep backwards
compatibility (except increasing PHP version dependency; that's fine).
The PEAR installer itself for example is PHP 5.4-7.x now.

You're admin on the repo now.
